Fulham - West Ham United 1-2 Cole, Etherington
Gianfranco Zola and West Ham United secured a 2-1 victory over 10-man Fulham.
Two goals in the final three minutes of the first half turned out to be decisive, with Carlton Cole and then Matthew Etherington finding the net.
There was still time for Fulham striker Andrew Johnson to be sent off before the half-time whistle was blown, and although the home side were back in the match on the hour mark thanks to Danny Murphy’s penalty, there was to be no further scoring.
